 Esta especie también se aprovecha de las crecidas del río, en febrero vinieron desbordados inundando zonas cercanas, ahí es donde se congregan muchas garzas para capturar infinidad de animales atrapados por el agua como lombrices, gusanos, insectos,  etc..., en la mañana de estas tomas pude observar la gran cantidad de lombrices que cazaron.
Estas fotos están hechas en el río en Badajoz capital.
