TARABILLA ( Saxicola torquatus )

 Buen aspecto presentaba este macho de tarabilla, teniendo en cuenta que la imagen fue tomada en pleno invierno. 

Es un pajarillo algo mas pequeño que el gorrion comun, bastante confiado, cuando se acostumbra al comedero se puede permanecer muy cerca de el sin que se asuste.

Muy visible en nuestros campos extremeños.

Al igual que el macho esta tarabilla se acercaba a comer con toda la tanquilidad del mundo con respecto a mi, otra cosa eran las disputas entre los distintos comensales que se congregaban en las cercanias del comedero. Es un ave pequeñita, muy coqueta y tambien tiene su caracter. Se le encuentra facilmente por nuestros campos.

CURRUCA CABECINEGRA ( Sylvia melanocephala )

  La curruca es un ave diminuta, puede pasar completamente inadvertida. Su hábitat preferido son los matorrales, alcornocales, setos de jardines, zonas de sotobosque. Se mueve magníficamente entre arbustos de porte bajo. Los machos son bien distintos de las hembras, tienen el casco de la cabeza color negro y el plumaje gris. Las hembras tienen el colorido mas apagado y así como descolorido, perfecto para camuflarse entre la maleza. Es ave insectívora, pero no duda en comer higos, uvas y distintas semillas del campo. También tiene gusto por los bizcochos. Estas imágenes son de la dehesa a las afueras de Badajoz.

PECHIAZUL ( Luscinia svecica )

 Ave muy escondidíza, y muy dada a caminar por el suelo, sobre todo las hembras que es a quien presento en estas imágenes, el macho tiene un intenso color azul en el pecho, que lo diferencia claramente de las hembras. Es insectívoro. Habita por los humedales. Es del tamaño de los petirrojos, unos 13 ó 14 cms. Sus patas y pico son muy finos. Es especie del orden de los passeriformes. Es migratoria y suele pasar los inviernos en el sur de España. Estas tomas he podido hacerlas en la orilla de una charca con abundante vegetación, muy cerca de Badajoz capital.

La espalda o parte superior es parda y la inferior mucho mas clara. Suele ser el primero en llegar  a Europa tras la migración. Se congregan en colonias y hacen los nidos excavando los taludes de tierra o arena. Ponen en dos nidadas de 4 a 5 huevos, entre abril y junio. Se alimenta de insectos capturandolos en vuelo. estas imágenes están hechas en una laguna gravera donde existe una gran congregación de estos ejemplares. La caña posadero no estaba destinada a ellos, pero insistían en tomarla de ahí hacerles el reportaje. El aguardo es hidrohide ( aguardo flotante ). El lugar está muy cerca de Badajoz capital.
