Anida en el suelo, un hoyo poco profundo es todo lo que necesitan. Es insectívora, se alimenta en vuelo cazando insectos. Estas tomas pude obtenerlas estando dentro del agua con el hidrohide ( aguardo flotante ) Muy muy cerca de Badajoz capital.
